Meet Our Golf Professionals
Joe Bush
Golf Professional
In 1997 Joe left a successful family business to compete
professionally on various mini-tours including the TearDrop Tour and
the NGA Hooters Tour.   In 2000, Joe won the TearDrop Tour's
Diamond Players Classic in Clermont , FL.  It was also in 2000 that
he started teaching at the Crescent Golf Range in Union , NJ .  Joe
played professionally for five years and still competes in both local
and national tournaments.

While at Crescent, Joe taught new golfers and accomplished players
in both private and group lessons.  His students range from young
children to seniors.  Joe was selected by News 12 New Jersey
network to prepare and conduct a comprehensive ten week lesson
program that aired in the summer of 2004.  Joe will customize a
lesson program based on the golfer's goals and available practice
time.  His use of the V1 video analysis program will help students
understand their golf swing better.  Joe's goal is for his students to
get positive results on the course and enjoy the great game of golf.

Joe and his wife Kristen live in Scotch Plains with their daughters
Jamie and Kara.
James Bryant
Director of Instruction
James Bryant came to Branchburg Family Golf Center in the summer
of 2007 after first working at Cherry Valley Country Club and
Concordia Golf Club.  James has been in the golf business since
2001 when he started at Cherry Valley, in Outside Operations.
James passed his Playing Ability Test (PAT) for the P.G.A at
Mattawang Golf Club in Belle Mead, NJ and has competed in
REMAX Long Drive contests in the past.

James is now currently the Director of Instruction at Branchburg.   He
began teaching the game of golf in 2002 and has worked with a
variety of golfers ranging from children to seniors, to very beginners
to scratch golfers. James understands that each golfer is different,
and uses his personal knowledge of each student to formulate an
individual plan to make them a better golfer.  His philosophy is
simple; use your body as a weapon.  James looks at each student’s
physical ability to create a powerful swing.  He believes that not
everyone can create a “text book” golf swing, as everyone is
different, but that each student can achieve a fundamentally effective
swing with the proper instruction. James brings a fun and easy
approach to his teaching and loves working with all students.
